We invite applications from highly motivated graduate students with a strong background in mathematics or theoretical physics to join our dynamic research group in Quantum Information Science at the Technion. Our group focuses on exploring the mathematical foundations of quantum theory, quantum resource theories, and quantum communication. Students will be expected to conduct independent and collaborative research on cutting-edge problems in quantum information science. They will develop new theoretical models and mathematical frameworks, participate in regular group meetings, seminars, and workshops, and contribute to the writing of research papers and presentations at international conferences. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, along with a strong inclination and interest in theoretical and mathematical physics.
Postdoctoral Researcher in Theoretical Quantum Information:
We are also seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our group for a two to three-year term, depending on qualifications. The postdoc will have the opportunity to work on advanced topics in theoretical quantum information, including quantum resource theories, quantum communication, quantum thermodynamics, and the foundations of quantum mechanics.
